C Sharp entertains children’s homes

C Sharp Music Academy presented their 18th year-end concert at the Barnyard Theatre at the end of October.

The show, Rhythm of the Night, gave students of the Farrarmere-based academy an opportunity to perform on stage with all the ‘trimmings’ that the professionals have (dancers, costumes, professional lighting, sound and DVD recording).

“Every year we invite children’s homes from all over Gauteng to attend the morning show and this year we had 100 kids attend the show,” said Lizette de Klerk, owner of C Sharp Music Academy.

“It’s a privilege to spoil these children who probably never get the opportunity to attend a show at the Barnyard Theatre.”
