Cheer fund nears R2 000 mark
The best kind of friend walks on four legs and you can help these animals through the annual Benoni SPCA Cheer Fund which has officially kicked off.
These people have donated to the shelter on 3 Klein Street, Lakefield so far:

• Angie Grobler (R500)
• Carol-Anne Wait (R200) – for Ramsey
• Maleeha Khan (R200)
• Candice Rowles (R300)
• Quinton Atkinson (R50)
• Candice McInnes (R146.20)
• Lucie Miller (box of coins)
• Devon and Daniel van der Merwe (box of coins)
So far the amount raised is R1 704.20
Each week, the names of the previous week’s contributors will be published.
Anyone who donates to the SPCA and wants their donations to be published in the City Times can email their name and the amount of the donation to sheinar@caxton.co.za
