The incident occurred in Joyce Avenue, Morehill at about 4am.
According to Benoni SAPS spokesperson Capt Nomsa Sekele, two men who had knives gained entry into the house through a window.
The suspects took the woman’s ring and fled the scene.
No arrests have been made.
A case of house robbery was opened at the Benoni SAPS.
