Help raise funds for blind bowlers
The Benoni Lakes Lions Club would like you to lend a helping hand as they raise funds for bowlers of the National Association for Blind Bowlers (NABB) in the Ekurhuleni region.
A fund-raiser will be held on October 29 at the Atlas Bowling Club, on the corner of Denel North and Atlas roads, Bonaero Park.
Funds raised will be used to send the players to the national tournament which takes place in Eden, Eastern Cape during May 2018.
Players will be charged R600 per team of five, which will include tea and a build-a-burger lunch.
Non-bowlers are welcome.
Registration will start at 8.15am.
The club is looking for donations of prizes and sponsorships.
