Garland ladies celebrate 19 years

The Garland Ladies Luncheon Club celebrated its 19th birthday at the Benoni Country Club on September 28.

Not only did the club celebrate another year, it also celebrated the move to a new ‘home’.

After being at the Benoni Country Club for 19 years, Ebotse Golf and Country Estate will be their new home from October.

The announcement was met with excitement as members look forward to the change.

Margie Kostelac, past president for 2016/2017, handed over the reins to Terry Hankin who will be the president for 2017/2018.

Hankin introduced her new committee members who will assist her throughout her year of reign.

Hankin’s theme for the year is ‘one moment in time’.

She promised members that she would give the new position her all.

Over 100 women attended the celebration at the Benoni Country Club.
