Four moderately injured underneath Voortrekker Street bridge

Four people sustained moderate injuries when a truck and bakkie crashed on the N12 highway yesterday (October 8) afternoon.

Paramedics said two people sustained moderate injuries in this bakkie on October 7.

The accident happened on the west-bound carriageway, underneath the Voortrekker Street bridge, at about 3.30pm.

Clair Wolstencroft, ER24 spokesperson, said a male and female in the bakkie had moderate injuries.

She said two men in the truck also sustained moderate injuries.

All four people were transorted to Life the Glynnwood Hospital for further treatment.

The exact cause of the accident is not known.
