Man found hanging from tree near Tom Jones Street

An inquest docket has been opened after a man was found hanging from a tree near Tom Jones Street this morning (September 21).

Const Zama Madonda, spokesperson for the Benoni Police Station, said the body was found before 7am.

She said the man, who is in his early 60s, had already died when authorities arrived.
