About 160 people attended the event, which included guest speakers who addressed the audience.
The aim was to create awareness around Cansa within the community.
Nutritionist Razia Jada highlighted the importance of eating correctly and taking care of our bodies before we get illnesses.
Cancer survivor Gwen Janse van Rensburg shared her story with the audience and encouraged people who have or know someone who has cancer to never give up.
