The incident occurred near Yende Street, Daveyton at around 1.40pm.
Daveyton SAPS spokesperson, Capt Mesh Makole said when police were called to the scene, they found the man half-naked with his private parts next to him.
“It was reported that he was last seen on August 27,” said Makole.
The 20-year-old had wounds on his neck.
The motive for the killing is unknown.
