Busy day for hobbyists at local mall

The Eastern Model Railway Interest Group (Emrig) held a spring 'swap meet' on August 26, at Northmead Mall.

Min, Mervyn and Rory Mark sold various items during the event.

Shoppers and local residents got to admire the countless railway model creations from different parts of the world.

The model trains’ railway creations are modelled after a variety of trains from different eras, such as the 1950s.

Members showcased various types of models including English, South African, German and American trains.

Their Paddington Station at Northmead can be visited on Wednesday, between 9am and noon, or on Saturday, between 9am and 4pm.
