You’re needed to help break a World Record in Benoni this weekend

RE/MAX-Randgro needs the public’s assistance to break the existing Guinness Book of World Records for the collection of the most personal hygiene items for the under-privileged.

The existing World Record is 20 000 units, but this will hopefully be broken on August 25 and 26.

World record attempters to leave their mark

The real estate company would like to appeal to the community and corporates to assist with donations to achieve this goal.

In 2015, RE/MAX Randgro set the World Record for the most pet food donated by employing the help of the Benoni and Boksburg community.

Personal hygiene items such as toothpaste, toothbrushes, soap bars, shampoo, tissues and toilet rolls can be delivered to RE/MAX Lakefield, Rynfield Clicks, Rynfield Dischem, Northmead Pick n Pay, Northmead Square, Atlasville Spar, Farrarmere Dischem, Pick n Pay Lakefield, Farrarmere Pick n Pay and Oakfields Pick n Pay.

The estate agency will distribute these much-needed personal hygiene items to certified NGOs such as The Greater Benoni Child Welfare, Home-Start SA, Life Choices Pregnancy and Crisis Centre, The Almond Tree Baby Home, The 100% Foundation, Pregnancy Community Centre, Church of SA and iThemba Rape and Trauma Support Centre, amongst others.

These non-government organisations are committed to giving these items to members of the community who need help.
