New Modder factory goes up in flames

No injuries have been reported after a fire broke out at a New Modder tyre factory this afternoon (July 23).

A thick cloud of smoke filled the air at about 4.30pm, following the fire on Vermont Avenue.

Liam Hardy, ER24 spokesperson, said there were no injuries.

He said fire crews were on scene.
