Motorist seriously hurt after crashing car into tree on Birch Road
A man was transported to hospital in a serious condition after driving into a tree in Petit early this morning (July 22).
The accident happened on Birch Road, near the Zesfontein Road intersection, at about midnight.
ER24 spokeserson Liam Hardy said the driver, a man in his early 20s, was entrapped in the vehicle.
Paramedics transported the man to the Tambo Memorial Hospital.
Hardy said there were no other people in the vehicle.
