Have you seen Jools?

A man is frantically searching for his “sister” - a border collie which went missing in Western Extension yesterday (July 19).

“This is killing me – the dog has been in my family for 13 years,” said Liam Coote, adding that his mother, Jill, is distraught.

“We adopted her from the Benoni SPCA in 2006.”

Jools went missing from his mother’s Western Extension home after the garden service left the gate open.

The dog was last seen on Railway Avenue.

Coote has printed about 250 flyers to spread the message.

He has visited several SPCAs, animal organisations, local businesses, people on the street and has taken to social media.

The Farrarmere resident is offering a R1 000 reward for anyone who finds the pooch, which he said is like a sister to him.

If you have seen the animal, contact Coote on 081 756 0525 or Jill on 083 284 8477.
