BREAKING: Five lanes closed on N12 highway in Benoni – paramedics

A truck travelling on the N12 east-bound lost its trailer, which flipped onto the highway’s west-bound carriageway.

The incident happened at about 4pm today (July 20).

ER24 spokesperson Sanjay Sukdeo said two lanes between Main and Atlas roads, when travelling east, are closed. Three lanes in a westerly direction were closed at 4.10pm.

Sukdeo said there are no injuries on scene.
