Good Samaritans celebrated

Ganapathy Promotions hosted the Legendary Awards 2017 to recognise groups and individuals who have committed themselves to helping the community over the years.

Dr Jaintylal Nana was one of the award winners. Nana with Karthi Moothsamy who presented him an award.

Held at the Seva Semaj Auditorium in Actonville on July 1, the event saw various individuals being shown appreciation for the work that they do.

The Legendary Awards were founded by Vincent Cook of Benoni in association with the Shree Radha Krishna Mandir to honour stalwarts who have excelled and made significant contributions to their industries and local communities.

This initiative was founded in 2013 and has continued to grow each year.

The Legendary Awards include the following categories:

Civic sector, Continuous Service to religious and cultural organisations, Cultural Achievement, Youth Volunteer, Commemorative or Memorial, Spiritual Leader/Clergy.

Chandrakant Dullabh was presented an award by Karthi Moothsamy.
