UPDATE: VW employee in ‘good spirits’ following accident at dealership
The man who was injured at VW Princes Benoni is in good spirits, according to the dealership’s dealer principal, Ben Koch.
Koch said the 41-year-old man is talking and is not showing signs of discomfort.

He said the victim was airlifted to hospital this morning (July 6), but was not seriously injured.
The exact circumstances of the incident are unknown, but Koch said the employee dove out of the way as a vehicle fell off a hydraulic lift.
“The owners of the lift will give two independent reports as to what happened,” said Koch.
He said the report will shed light on whether it was caused by a faulty lift or human error.
