Capt Nomsa Sekele, Ekurhuleni Central Cluster spokesperson, said the victim was hanging out washing when the perpetrator jumped over the wall and threatened her with a knife.

“The suspect raped the woman in the outside toilet and stole her cellphone,” Sekele said.
A case of robbery and rape was opened at the Benoni Police Station.
