Farrarmere man shot at twice while leaving home

A man escaped injury when he was shot at twice as he left his driveway in Farrarmere this morning (June 7).

The incident occurred at around 6am.

Benoni police are investigating a case of attempted hijacking.

Col Martin van Nieuwenhuizen, head of the Benoni Visible Policing unit, said the assailants sped off as the man defended himself.
