Two arrested on Bayley Street

Police, with the help of the Benoni Community Policing Forum (CPF), arrested two men in Farrarmere this afternoon (May 15).

Capt Nomsa Sekele, Benoni SAPS spokesperson, said crime prevention members Capt Imber Groesbeek, Sgt Alex Phohlo and Const Kulani Mahoi received a lookout for a grey Toyota, which was suspected to have been stolen.

Two men, aged 38 and 54, were stopped and arrested on Bayley Street, at about 1.30pm.

The suspects will be charged with being in possession of a suspected stolen vehicle and house break-in implements.
