Help the CPF fight crime

The CPF needs more members to help patrol the streets of Benoni.

At a public meeting held by the organisation recently, Zen Teitge, deputy chairperson of the Benoni CPF, encouraged members of the public to join to help combat crime.

“The police can’t do this alone, we have to work with them to fight crime,” he said.

Teitge pointed out that the public can also become more involved in other ways, such as reporting any suspicious behaviour to the police and opening cases whenever a crime happens.

“Open cases, even if it seems like something trivial; it helps the police to know what’s happening out there.”

To join the Benoni CPF, find the application form on the website, benonicpf.org
