Attempted murder case opened after shooting at local vet’s house

A case of attempted murder has been opened following a shooting at the home of a Benoni veterinarian in the early hours of May 5, during which his wife was shot.

The incident happened at the couple’s home, which is located between Delmas and Bronkhorstspruit.

The injured woman was airlifted to the Milpark Hospital.

The incident is being investigated by the Delmas SAPS.
