Youth desk volunteers needed

The Crystal Park SAPS Youth Crime Prevention desk is looking for volunteers who are passionate about the well-being of their community.

In a random act of kindness, 20 pupils of Chief Albert Luthuli Primary School received new school shoes on February 16. They are seen with Crystal Park SAPS, youth desk volunteers, VEC volunteers, CPF, iThemba Rape and Trauma Support Centre members and teachers from the school.

Crystal Park SAPS spokesperson WO Rudi Sieberts said they believe it is time for young people to take a stand against crime in the community.

“That will only be possible if the youth rise up and work together in this cause,” said Sieberts.

Volunteers must be between the age of 19 and 35 years.

They must be willing to invest their time in community projects.
