Ekurhuleni Central Cluster SAPS commander Maj-Gen Poobalan Subbiah, along with Gauteng police’s Capt Kay Makhubele, confirmed the incident, which took place this afternoon (April 26).
Subbiah said the murder occurred at a business in Pretoria Road, in Fairleads.
He said the owner of the business and a worker were found dead, both having sustained stab wounds.
Both victims were dead when police arrived on scene at around 3.30pm.
The motive for the crime is unclear at this stage.
No arrests had been made by 8.20pm.
A case of murder has been opened.
