TiMO returns to festival

It’s time to go “Dancing Again” with TiMO ODV, who will be performing at the Festival @ St Dunstan’s on May 13.

The “Find My Way” artist found his way back to the festival stage after performing at the festival in 2016.

“I initially wanted to be only a music producer, but then I realised that people need to hear vocals,” TiMO said.

“I used to spend two hours a day for five days a week, every week, practising to sing.”

According to the “Save Me” artist, his song-writing process includes harmony, melody, bass and drums.

“However, drums is my least favourite instrument,” TiMO said.

The artist is hoping to take his music to the next level of techno music.

“I also want to create music where people can dance to the vibe of every song,” he said.

“I do not want people to listen to my music waiting for the next song to play.”

Although TiMO is amped to play to fans who love his music, he also has long-term goals such as building a fan base in Europe.

“I want to play in Europe, but this is still my home,” said the artist who is a Kempton Park boy.

He said that at this year’s festival, fans can expect more music to dance to and interaction not only with each other, but with him.

TiMO also gave advice to up-and-coming artists.

“Let your music be authentic and not just radio play,” he said.

“Authentic music spreads.”
