Police still investigating Wattville murder case

The man whose body was found near the Leeupan lake, in Wattville in February, has been identified as Alfred Mahlangu.

Col Stanley Nevhuhulwi, station commander of Actonville SAPS, said Mahlangu was 30 years old and an Actonville resident.

Police are investigating a case of murder after he was found dead at the lake during the early morning of February 19.

At the time of publishing, Nevhuhulwi said no arrests had been made and police were awaiting results of the post mortem assessment.
