Recycle obsolete electrical items

The Benoni Lakes Lions Club is once again running its much-anticipated Recycle for Sight initiative, at Lakeside Mall.

The club is calling on the community to bring in old and/or broken electronic and electrical items such as monitors, keyboards, computers, household appliances and more.

The items can be dropped off at the recycling centre, at Lakeside Mall’s Entrance Five.

This initiative started on February 22 and will run until April 3, between 7am and 4pm, Monday to Saturday, and between 7am and 1pm on Sundays.

Desco Electronic Recyclers will collect and dispose of all the equipment collected.

All funds raised will be used towards Lions sight projects in the community.

No collections can be made by the club.
