SPCA receives dogs tied up

Two dogs, which were tied with cable ties, were surrendered by their owner to the Benoni SPCA on Tuesday (February 14).

Two dogs were given up by their owner who used cable ties to tie them up as he transported them from Cloverdene to the Benoni SPCA.

According to a post on the SPCA’s Facebook page, a Cloverdene resident transported his dogs to the SPCA on the back of an open-roof truck.

The dogs were treated for parasites and are up for adoption immediately.

According to the organisation, further action will be taken against the previous owner of the dogs.

The society’s management could not be reached at the time of publishing.
