Boy (15) critical after being hit by car

A 15-year-old boy sustained critical injuries when he was hit by a car in Northmead today (January 19).

The accident happened in Webb Street at around 2.30pm.

According to ER24 spokesperson Sanjay Sukdeo, when paramedics arrived on the scene the boy was unresponsive.

Sukdeo says the boy may have suffered head injuries.

He was transported to Arwyp Medical Centre, in Kempton Park.
