Children’s home appeals for help

The Nyeleti Children’s Home in Putfontein is appealing to the public to bring light to the home and the children’s faces this Christmas.

One of the directors of the home, Nomsa Sithole, said the electricity bill is in arrears to the amount of R56 000.

“We have been without electricity for four months and we do not want our children to spend Christmas in darkness,” Sithole said.

Sithole also said the home is not in the position to give the children a decent Christmas party.

“Will people please donate toys, clothes (new or secondhand) and food – it will be highly appreciated,” Sithole added.
