The walk is done to raise funds that will go towards the construction of a women and childcare centre in Gaza.
Struggle icon Ahmed Kathrada joined residents and community members for the walk, which proceeded from Willowmoore Park to Actonville.
The day also included a flea market and tea garden.
The community-based event was attended by young and old, along with various religious groups.
Food was handed out to children from Kids Haven and learners from Ephes Mamkeli Secondary School.
