Woman injured as car rolls on N12

A woman sustained moderate injuries when the car she was travelling in rolled on the N12 highway this afternoon (November 30).

The incident happened on the east-bound carriageway, at the Snake Road off-ramp, just after 4pm.

Kelly Burchell, ER24 spokesperson, said a woman in her early to mid-30s collided with a metro police vehicle, which caused her car to roll.

The three people in the metro vehicle were unscathed.

The woman, and only occupant of the light motor vehicle, was transported to the Life the Glynnwood Hospital with moderate injuries.
