Man critical after being ejected from vehicle
A man was critically injured in an accident in Etwatwa on November 27.
The accident happened near the N12.
“ER24 paramedics arrived on the scene and found a light motor vehicle lying on its roof on the side of the road,” said Russel Meiring, ER24 spokesperson.
“A body of a man was found lying just a few metres away.
“Paramedics assessed the man and found that he had sustained numerous injuries and was in a critical condition.”
The victim, believed to be in his 30s, was transported to Far East Rand Hospital for urgent treatment.
Meiring said it is believed that the driver lost control of the vehicle, causing it to roll and eject the driver through the back window.
Local authorities were on the scene for further investigations.
