Man found dead in vehicle on the N12

A man died on the N12 highway in the early hours of this morning (November 26).

A man died in an accident on the N12 highway on November 26.

The single-vehicle accident happened on the east-bound carriageway, just before the Snake Road off-ramp, at around 4am.

Liam Hardy, ER24 spokesperson, said the driver had crashed into the barrier.

“He was still entrapped in the vehice, but he had already died [when paramedics arrived],” said Hardy.

The man, who is believed to be in his late 20s or early 30s, was the only person in the VW Polo.
