Knitters make 400 teddies for kids and frail care patients

One hundred hand-made soft toys were given over to motorcycling duo, Chris and Marcel Watkins, at Rynpark Seven recently.

The toys were made by the Rynpark Seven Knitting Club.

The motorcyclists will take the toys to this year’s Toy Run, to be held at Benoni Northerns Sports Club.

The Toy Run is an annual event where thousands of bikers and enthusiasts gather to collect as many toys as possible, to be handed to children in need.

The knitters made a total of 400 toys, 300 of which will be given to Rynpark’s frail care residents, for comfort.
