The book bash will be held on December 2, from 9am to 4pm, and on December 3, from 9am to noon.
Friends of the Benoni Library is appealing to the public to donate books (particularly recent fiction novels) that are in a good condition.
Duplicate books, that the library cannot use, are sold to raise funds to buy new books for the library.
Books are also donated to various organisations and causes in Benoni.
The book bash will take place in the Benoni Library foyer.
If you would like to donate books, drop them off at the library or contact Sandra Castille on 011 849 6122 or Christine Drake on 011 849 3122, to arrange for a collection.
