Tryna Maritz, Crystal Park SAPS acting communications officer, said police found a white VW Golf in an open field on Springs Road, on October 5.
She said the vehicle was partially burnt, on the front and back, and there were traces of blood inside the car.
Police discovered the vehicle belongs to Nkosi, an Etwatwa resident who has been missing since October 2.
Nkosi is 1.65m tall and weighs approximately 65kg.
He has a small scar on his cheek.
He was last seen wearing a Nike navy top, navy trousers and black All Star shoes.
He had a silver ring on his left hand.
