Bakkie mirror clips pregnant woman
A woman who is seven months pregnant was knocked to the ground by a passing vehicle this morning (September 23).
ER24 spokesperson Sanjay Sukdeo said the incident happened at the intersection of Main and Atlas roads, just before 7am.
He said the female, who is in her 30s, was clipped by a bakkie’s mirror.
“She spun around and fell to the floor,” said Sukdeo.
The mother had no visible injuries, but was transported to the Tambo Memorial Hospital for observation.
