Buy a cupcake; save a life
Buy freshly baked cupcakes at the Mugg & Bean at The Square at Farrarmere this weekend (September 24 and 25) and contribute to the medical bills of children affected by cancer.
September 24 is National Cupcake Day but Mugg & Bean will sell cupcakes on Saturday (7am to 6pm) and Sunday (7am to 5pm).
“We will be selling cupcakes at R20 each and the profits will be going to the Cupcakes of Hope organisation,” said general manager of the Mugg & Bean Farrarmere, Werner van der Merwe.
Cupcakes of Hope is a non-profit organisation which raises funds to donate to charities who pay for the medical bills of children who have life-threatening diseases.
Van der Merwe hopes to sell 400 to 500 cupcakes this weekend.
