Shop employees arrested for unlicensed firearm

Three employees of a Wattville store were arrested for being in possession of an unlicensed firearm and ammunition.

According to Col Fredl Jonck, Actonville Police Station commander, the men were arrested at the shop at around 10am, on September 21.

He confirmed that the firearm had been reported stolen in Sebenza, during 2008.

The suspects were expected to appear in the Benoni Magistrates Court soon.
