Water off along Kirschner Road

Roving water tankers have been deployed to Brentwood Park, as properties along Kirschner Road have been without water since this morning (September 7).

Ward 23 Clr André du Plessis said the metro is currently repairing a water leak on Kirschner Road, which burst this morning.

Du Plessis said tankers should be available at Village Walk Retirement Village and Brentwood Park Shopping Centre, along Great North Road.

Brentwood Park has been experiencing weak water pressure for the past four to five days.

The municipality said they are working around the clock to restore the interruption.
