Seven hurt in structure collapse

Seven construction workers were injured when a structure collapsed on Putfontein Road this morning (September 4).

A structural collapse led to seven people being injured on September 4.

Kelly Burchell, ER24 spokesperson, said the incident happened at around 9am.

She said six males sustained minor to moderate injuries and one man had serious injuries.

All the patients were transported to various hospitals for further care.

The cause of the collapse is not known at this stage.
