Pedestrian knocked by vehicle

An accident on the corners of Struben and Robinson streets lead to a female pedestrian sustaining minor injuries on Monday morning (August 29).

“The woman, who is in her 30s, sustained minor injuries after she was knocked by a light motor vehicle,” said Netcare 911 media liaison officer, Athlenda Mathe.

“Netcare 911 paramedics managed to stabilise the injured woman on the scene before transporting her to a nearby hospital for further medical care.”

Mathe said the cause of the accident will remain a subject for police investigation and comment.
