Books fly off the shelves

The Benoni Lakes Lions Club held a successful book sale at the weekend.

Despite the sale taking place on Friday, Saturday and Sunday, while the club was setting up its stall at Lakeside Mall on Thursday evening, the public had already started purchasing books.

The club’s Beaulieu Maré said they raised R9 228.
