Free items up for grabs

Some things in life are free, especially in Benoni.

The Northmead-based Endeo Family Church is again hosting its Annual Free Church Bazaar, and all Benoni residents are invited to attend the event on August 27.

“Members of the public are encouraged to come and take part in a fun-filled morning of great entertainment, the best boerewors rolls in town, cold drinks, desserts, groceries and many more – all of which are given away for free,” said event coordinator Lien Joubert.

Children will also receive ice creams, face-paint, popcorn and lots more.

Visitors will be given tickets enabling them to choose a free item(s) from all of the available categories.

“This amazing event is made possible by a variety of sponsors and the hard-working congregation, who cannot wait to bless and serve the community through this unique event,” Joubert added.

The bazaar takes place at Laerskool Northmead, on the corner of Fifth Avenue and Seventh Street, from 9am to 11am.
