ANC wins Ward 30

ANC supporters came out strongly in Ward 30, giving the party 75.68 per cent of the vote in the area.

Ward 30 includes Apex and Wattville.

Stephen Sibiya will retain the ward for his partly, having won 9 770 votes.

The EFF won 9.52 per cent of the vote (1 229 votes) , while the DA managed 8.49 per cent (1 097 votes).

The City Times was unable to reach Sibiya for comment.
