The accident happened on the corner of Pretoria Road and Robinson Street.
“When we arrived on scene, at about 11.30am, we found a taxi on its side facing the oncoming traffic,” said Russel Meiring, ER24 spokesperson.
The accident also involved a truck.
Meiring said 11 occupants of the taxi sustained minor injuries and were transported to the Sunshine Hospital.
The drivers of the taxi and truck were not transported to hospital.
