Lions in urgent need of books
The Benoni Host Lions Club needs second-hand books urgently for their book sale, held every last Sunday of the month.
The club has its book sales at the Lemongrass Urban Market, in Western Extension.
Funds raised from the book sales go towards the club’s community projects.
“If anyone wishes to donate books that are no longer needed, we will gladly collect them for our sale tables,” said the club’s public relations officer, Gillian Bailey.
