Woman airlifted following Northmead crash
A woman was airlifted to hospital after she was ejected from a vehicle in a Northmead accident this morning (July 14).
The two-vehicle accident happened on the corner of Fifth Avenue and Seventh Street, at about 8.35am.
Kelly Burchell, ER24 spokesperson, said the back seat passenger in the Tazz was ejected out the back window and landed on a pavement.
She was flown to hospital in a critical condition.
A 17-year-old male front seat passenger sustained moderate injuries and was transported to the Sunshine Hospital.
The female driver was moderately hurt and was also transported to a healthcare facility.
The male driver of the second vehicle was transported to hospital with minor to moderate injuries.
