EMM announces water supply interruption for tonight

An emergency water supply interruption will affect parts of Etwatwa from 6pm this evening (July 7).

Low water pressure will be experienced in Etwatwa Extension One, Three, 15, Etwatwa West, East and Mandela section.

There will be no water in Etwatwa Extension Nine, 10, 18, 19, 24, 32, 36.

“Technicians will work overnight in order to reinstate the supply tomorrow morning,” said metro spokesperson Themba Gadebe.

“The EMM wishes to apologise for any inconvenience caused by the interruption.”

Gadebe said 10 roving water tankers will be dispatched to the affected areas and more will be arranged if necessary.
